Greenway Network, in partnership with the St. Louis Audubon Society and Great Rivers Greenway, is hosting a Honeysuckle Bash on Saturday, Oct. 17, starting at 8:30 a.m. Volunteers are needed to help remove invasive honeysuckle at one of three sites in St. Charles County or at Creve Coeur County Park in St. Louis County. Volunteer efforts are critical to help control this invasive plant and enable native species to grow and flourish. Training and supplies will be provided to all volunteers and crew members. After the cleanup, volunteers will gather at noon at St. Charles County Parks’ Heritage Museum for a barbecue lunch celebration, with music provided by the band Seldom Fed Five. For more information on the four cleanup sites and to register online, please visit www.greenwaynetwork.org.
