The Jacoby Arts Center continues its successful Friday Nites Live! with the return of Somehow Peachy. Local musicians Holly Barber and Janet Buchanan will take the stage 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2. Their music blends folk, bossa nova and jazz in silky harmonies. Will Buchanan, Janet’s husband, an accomplished electric guitar player and drummer, will be a special guest on stage. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and seating is on a first-come basis.
For an extra charge, apple-praline pie, a seasonal harvest specialty of Katherine’s Bounty, a favored vendor at Alton Farmers’ Market, will be available along with Bunkhouse Joe’s Ethiopian Natural water-washed Decaf and Icey Joe and a cash bar.
