Once again, residents can sign up for the Alton Park and Recreation Department’s Tailgate Sale and sell crafts, antiques, specialty items and unwanted goods.
The sale, in conjunction with the Alton Farmers and Artisans’ Market, will run from 7 a.m. to noon on Oct. 10 at the parking lot on the southwest corner of Landmarks Boulevard and Henry Street.
Admission is free for shoppers.
Anyone wanting to sell goods, though, must preregister and pay $10 per parking space in advance.
To register, go online to: www.alton-il.com, then click on the sports registration box on the right side of the webpage; or call (618) 463-3580 or go in person from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 2 Emma Kaus Lane, Alton.
