Join in the celebration of our German heritage and the 145th Anniversary of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Brighton IL.
Live music by the Waterloo German Band, delicious German Food on sale including bratwurst, hot dogs, red cabbage, German potato salad and all the fixings plus desserts. We will have kids’ games and contests, a Cake Walk, 50/50 raffle, a Dachshund costume contest and parade and much more. Come join in the festivities, enjoy some polka dancing, eat good food and celebrate with our neighbors.
We will also have a reprint of the 1938 St. John’s church Cookbook with additional information about the 53 women who contributed to its publication. This is available for $10.
