12:00p.m.-4:00p.m.: The Granite City Association for the Protection of Animals (APA) is hosting "Critterfest" at Wilson Park. Granite City APA is a non profit "no-kill" animal shelter, located in Granite City, Illinois. Event includes: Food, Art Projects for the kids, Vendor Booths, Duck Pond Game, Gateway Stables (horses, chickens, goats, bunnies, etc.), Tie Dye Booth - you can tie dye your own shirt, Music by "Doctor DJ and Karaoke", Police Dog Demo, Fire Truck Demo, Blessing of the Animals, and Microchipping. All of the GCAPA dogs will be at the park and will be available for adoption. Come out with your family for a day of food, friends and FUNdraising for the GCAPA Animal Shelter.
