Join the celebration of Illinois Watersheds through Education, Recreation, and Conservation at the 9th annual Mississippi Earthtones Festival on Broadway in Alton!
The event is held annually on the 3rd Saturday in September, as part of Lt. Governor Pat Quinn’s “It’s Our River Day” initiative to celebrate Illinois watersheds through education, recreation and conservation. This free, sustainable festival offers Live Music, Food and Beverages, Children’s Activities, Arts and Crafts, and more. You can get involved with a youth/adult river clean up or partake in yoga, hula hooping, and other activities!
