July 26, we bring a new performer to our band stand stage, St. Louis artist Dean Christopher. With more than 30 years’ experience as an actor, singer, comedian, impressionist, Dean’s stage, film and television resume is extensive. Dean has opened for Don Rickles and Frank Sinatra, Jr. Dean got his start at local clubs in St. Louis with an act consisting of singing, comedy and impressions of personalities and singers; his preference was the type of music the Rat Pack, Bobby Darin and the like had been doing in Las Vegas. Dean moved to New York and did comedy and emcee work while also appearing on the theatrical stage, radio and television. Dean developed an entertaining one-man show paying tribute to classic Las Vegas; it’s style, music and performers back when the Rat Pack ruled.
