The Illinois Department of Transportation has scheduled the third Public Informational Meeting for the Alton-Godfrey Transportation Study, as follows:

The study area is located between IL Route 3/111 (Homer Adams Pkwy) to IL Route 255, bordered on the east and west by US Route 67 and Seminary Road, in the communities of Alton and Godfrey.
This is an open house meeting; no formal presentations will be made. The open house meeting format provides interested individuals the opportunity to attend the meeting and obtain information regarding the study, area traffic and safety conditions, and the public involvement process. The purpose of this meeting will be to present the study’s potential Preferred Alternative. You may come and go at anytime during the scheduled meeting hours, examine the display exhibits related to the study, and speak with IDOT representatives. Written comments may be made on forms provided at the meeting, or may be mailed or submitted on the study website, www.idot.illinois.gov/projects/Alton-Godfrey-Study.
