How long does it take a raindrop to travel down the Mississippi River? What kind of plant life did Lewis & Clark discover on their journey west? The answers to these questions and more will be available during this all-day event. Take tours of the Tower's gardens which feature plants found during the historic journey of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. Meet Gayle Harper, the author of the book, "Roadtrip with a Raindrop" which chronicles the journey of a theoretical raindrop as it travels from Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico along the Mississippi River. Activities for children and more will be featured. This event is free. There will be discounted tours of the Tower available.
