The Great Rivers Chapter of Illinois Audubon Society is having its Spring meeting on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Frank's Restaurant, 132 West MacArthur Drive (highway 140), Cottacg Hills, IL. Dinner (Dutch treat) starts at 6:00pm and the meeting begins at 7:00pm. The program is on the Sand Hill Crane spring migration stopover along the Platte River around Grand Island, NE. Gene and Steve Sands will be presenting a photographic journal of their trip along with a brief video and useful information regarding how others can plan and embark upon the same excursion.
