The City of Edwardsville/Glen Carbon, IL is hosting PIZZA PROWL for the community. It is a Progressive Taste that local pizza serving restaurants are entering. They are having a contest to see which one is the "Best of the Best." Proceeds will benefit a non-for-profit organization called "A Hero's Impact Foundation" and other local charitable foundations. The date is Saturday, May 16, 2015. It will run from 10:00am to 1:00pm. In addition, we are having a LIVE AUCTION at 1:30pm. Restaurants and local businesses will have gift cards and surprises available for bidding.
Patrons with wristbands will be pizza-hopping from restaurant to restaurant to taste a sample of unique pizza creations. Customers that have tickets/wristbands will eat a sample and drive to the next restaurant. The idea is to keep things moving. A voting slip will be issued with each wristband that will list all participating restaurants. The voting will be judged by customers in three categories:
1. Taste 2. Ingredients 3. Crust
The tickets will be sold as the following: Adults $10 and Children 12 and under $8. You may purchase your tickets at www.pizzaprowl.net or at the door on event day.
