On Saturday, March 21, join Great Rivers Greenway, the St. Louis Metropolitan Sewer District, Missouri American Water and a host of other partners for the seventh annual Confluence Trash Bash and help clean up the rivers and creeks within the Confluence Greenway and the Missouri/Mississippi River watersheds. Volunteers can choose from several starting points, including the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge, Creve Coeur Park, Florissant Sunset Park, the Bridgeton Municipal Athletic Complex, 5 Branch Street in St. Louis City (near the McKinley Bridge Bikeway) and more! Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., and cleanup efforts will last until noon. After the cleanup, a celebratory lunch will take place, and prizes for best trash finds will be awarded.
