Edwardsville High School Band & Boosters are hosting the WGI St. Louis Percussion Regional on Saturday, February 21st. Eighteen (18) units (high school and independent) from the Metro East/St. Louis region, Illinois, Missouri and 1 unit from Alabama will be performing in prelims (begins @ 10:30 AM) and finals (begins @ 5:00 PM) format.
Edwardsville's Winter Percussion placed 3rd out of 70 other Percussion Scholastic A units during the WGI World Percussion Championships held in April 2014 in Dayton, OH.
Local participating units include: Alton HS, Belleville Township HS East, Collinsville, Edwardsville, Mater Dei HS, Freedom Percussion & Gateway Indoor.
Lunch and dinner concessions available.
Proceeds from the event support the Edwardsville Band programs.
Admission: $15/person prelims or final; $22/person combo
