Riverbend Head Start & Family Services will honor Steve and Jane Saale, of Brighton, Illinois, at the 22nd Annual Circle of Care Dinner and Auction for their spirit of caring about the community. Proceeds from the event benefit the mission of Riverbend Head Start.
Riverbend Head Start & Family Services is a 98-year-old non-profit committed to helping the most vulnerable families in Madison County, Illinois. The agency's mission is to empower children and families to develop positive skills to meet life's challenges. It accomplishes its mission through its Head Start and Early Head Start programs which prepare children for kindergarten. Families qualify for Riverbend Head Start's programs if they are expectant parents or have children between the ages of birth through five. They must also live below the federal poverty line, have a child with a diagnosed disability or be involved with the Department of Children and Family Services.
