Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Department of Music presents a
Free Faculty Recital
Friday November 7th at 7:30 p.m. on campus in Dunham Hall.
The concert will be in the Choral Room, DH 1109 and features James M. Hinson on clarinet and saxophone and Kris Pineda on piano.
The program will be followed by a reception and “Meet and Greet” with the performers.
Dr. Hinson is Professor of Music and head of Winds, Brass and Percussion at SIUE and Dr. Pineda is Assistant Professor and director of Keyboard Studies. The program will include pieces by Brahms, Husa, JeanJean and a special rendition of “Clarinet Polka” featuring the entire clarinet section of the Music Department of SIUE.
