Dr. Darryl Coan, Professor of Music at SIUE, will entertain members of the Macoupin County Hisorical Society and the general public, Monday, November 3 at 7 pm. Coan has translated parts of a book from the Society's collection written in 1900 by a well known Carlinville citizen. The book, written in low German, includes slang and regional dialect that should provide humor. The lecture takes place at the Ruyle Building on the Historical Society's grounds at 920 Breckenridge, Carlinville. thanks Pat Sims 2177105818
