Senior Services Plus Offers Boot Camp at Glazebrook Park Free class will be offered Tuesday, October 14th
On Tuesday, October 14th, Senior Services Plus' Wellness Center staff will be offering a free "Boot Camp in the Park". Personal Trainers and Fitness Class Instructors will teach the class, which will involve the use of body weight, partner-assisted exercises, and some agility training.
The class will take place at Glazebrook Park, located at 1401 Stamper Lane in Godfrey. The class is open to the public, and will begin at 5:00 p.m., and lasts approximately one hour. In case of inclement weather, the class will be cancelled.
Parts of the class will consist of circuit training, rotating through various exercises, including: push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, squats, and planks. A release form is required to participate.
Senior Services Plus' Wellness Center is located at 2603 North Rodgers Avenue in Alton. They offer over a weight room, cardio room, personal training and meal plan program.
