Alton Residents Large Item Drop Off Event

7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
@ former city landfill on Alby Street,
acorss from VFW

Items that will be accepted include:

• furniture
• mattress sets
• large carpets (cut into manageable bundles on lnger than 4ft)
• bulky items that don’t fit in your garbage cans
• Electronic waste will be accepted on site by a certified E-waste
• recycler

Items that will not be accepted:

• construction debris
• tires
• lead/oil based paint, varnish
• batteries
• yard waste
• flurescent light bulbs

This event is open to Alton residents only; participants must present a valid driver’s license or ther form of photo identificatin showing address. Only one trip per address is allowed. No trailers, stake-bed trucks, or box trucks are permitted. Waste must be below the top of the truck for standard pickup trucks.
