Bob Sims, a member of the Macoupin County Historical Society, will offer a presentaion titled, "Ice, fire, and rain". this program will tell the story of Illinois Tall Grass Prairies. Mr. Sims is a retired high school science teacher and naturalist. His presentation illustrates the geologic history of Illinois, the settlement of Macoupin County and a visual trip through his own prairie, season by season.
