Do you know a Veteran that is in need and looking for services? This our 2nd Annual Veterans fair to be held at our center.
Last year we had over 200 veterans and their families come to this event to learn about specialized services for Veterans. This year we plan to have over 15 service providers at this event to talk about their programs, and how they benefit Veterans.
That includes: Vitas Innovative Hospice, Wellspring Resources, Madison County Veteran's Assistance Commission, Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation, Land of Lincoln Honor Flight, Chestnut Credit Counseling, Lewis & Clark Community College, Illinois Department of Employment Security, East St. Louis Vet Center, Mobile Vet Center, Chestnut Health Systems, and more.
This is a great event that will bring together Veterans in our community for an opportunity to meet one another and to find need services provided by local organizations.

Our programs and services are developed to provide assistance and resource to seniors, and to help them live more independent lives in our community.
We have a lot of members that are Veterans having served in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, or other conflicts; our Veterans come from diverse backgrounds with different experiences.
One program we are fortunate to offer again this year is our Healthy Minds Healthy Bodies program through our Wellness Center. This limited grant allows some of our area Veterans qualify for our Healthy Minds Health Bodies program, which earns them a Wellness Center membership for themselves and a workout buddy. They also get 10 personal training sessions a year.
