to recruit for the following immediate openings:

Machine Operators: Operates the pusher/charger machine, utility car, locomotive and assorted mobile equipment (e.g., bobcat, forklift, cherry picker, front-end loader, dump truck) as needed in the processing of coal into metallurgical coke to meet or exceed coking production schedules. Performs all tasks necessary to maximize production within quality, safety/health and environmental requirements. Inspects machines and equipment and performs minor troubleshooting and maintenance. Requirements: High school diploma (or GED) required; one year certificate from college or technical school preferred. Three to six months related experience and/or training.
Utility People: Performs various labor/clean-up duties throughout the coke plant to maximize production within quality, safety/health and environmental requirements. Assists with repairs and preventative maintenance. Uses various mobile equipment (trucks, heavy equipment, dozers, front-end loaders, boom trucks, mobile cranes, platforms, bobcat, forklift, cherry picker, etc.). Loads railroad cars, performs oven repairs, and changes bag filters. Directs flow of material to/from operating units. Requirements: High school diploma (or GED) required; one year certificate from college or technical school preferred. Three to six months related experience and/or training.
Maintenance Technicians: Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in major producing unit or assigned area(s). Performs all functions and repairs (mechanical and electrical) necessary to maintain all operating and service equipment using standard and specialized tools and equipment. Operates equipment, including various mobile equipment, to repair and perform preventative maintenance within safety requirements. Requirements: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience or training.
Product Technicians: Monitors and controls operation conditions of coke ovens via computer and/or PLC systems, flu and air inlet dampers. Coordinates activities of workers engaged in coke pushing process. Maximizes production within quality, safety/health and environmental requirements. Operates equipment and performs and assists with maintenance tasks as necessary. Coordinates operating information and adjusts work procedures and activities to meet production schedules. Requirements: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience or training.
