(Alton, IL - February 23, 2010) � State Street will be closed from Williams to 4th Street during business hours (Monday � Friday 7:00 A.M until 5:00 P.M.) for the purposes of demolishing the Mansion House. When State Street is open, the speed limit in that area will be 20 miles per hour. The closure and speed limit reduction will be in effect until demolition of the Mansion House is completed.
