DEADLINE DRAWS NEAR TO REGISTER

"RED CARPET NETWORKING EXTRAVAGANZA"

(September 4, 2008 - Godfrey) The River Bend Growth Association and SCORE today announced that the deadline is drawing near to register for the Red Carpet Networking Extravaganza, which is a Career Development Seminar for women being held on Wed., Sept. 17, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Alton. The deadline to register for the event is Wed., Sept. 10, 2008.

Red Carpet Networking Extravaganza is the 9th annual event in a series created by the River Bend Growth Association and SCORE of women�s seminars created for women, by women. The program will include presentations by Dawn Mushill and Sally Roth.

Mushill is the owner and CEO of Customer Service and Beyond, a company developed to assist companies with their customer service training. She will enlighten the guests on the power of networking and how branding and marketing "yourself" is a crucial piece to public relations efforts. She will provide ideas on how to most effectively network in today�s economy.

As the Upper Midwest Area Executive, Greater St. Louis President for Regions, Roth will speak of her own "Secrets to Success." Roth oversees banking operations for Regions Bank in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa and Western Kentucky. She also serves as President of the Greater St. Louis bank. She has twenty-seven years of experience in the financial services industry and was named by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of the Most Influential St. Louisans in 2007 and among the Most Influential Women in St. Louis in 2008. She also received national recognition from appearing in Worth Magazine�s prestigious "250 Top Advisors" list.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Alton (3800 Homer Adams Parkway, Alton, IL), followed by the program at 8 a.m. Lunch and the speaker presentation by Sally Roth will begin at 11:30 a.m. The cost to attend is $50 per person or $275 for a table of six.
