QuickBooks Class Offers Tips for Users
A beginning level workshop for QuickBooks accounting software will be offered on Monday, June 1, 2009 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and again in the evening from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at The Hyten Professional Building, 2110 Troy Road, Suite I, Edwardsville, IL. The same topic will be repeated on June 3 and 5, 2009.
This class is designed to help dissolve the anxiety and problems that often accompany the use of this accounting program. The workshop will be led by a CPA who has experience working with various companies. All explanations will be targeted for the beginning or frequent user who has questions about the software. Topics will include establishing an effective chart of accounts, setting up items and classes, using check registers and deposits, understanding billing, payments, undeposited funds, financial statements, and other features of the software program.
The goal of the class is to help small businesses save money by building a more efficient bookkeeping system. All attendees are encouraged to purchase the textbook QuickBooks, by Kathy Ivens and to bring this book with them to the classes.
