Olin Community Credit Union Scholarship Applications Available

(Bethalto, IL - January 28, 2010) � Olin Community Credit Union will award three, $500 scholarships to area high school seniors in May. Applications are available at any Olin Community Credit Union branch location, in area high school guidance departments, or on-line at www.olincreditunion.org.

Fifteen area youth have benefited from the Olin Community Credit Union scholarships, which were introduced in 2005. Scholarships may be applied to tuition, fees or other educational expenses.

"Academics, credit union membership, character, and involvement in school and community are considered when selecting the recipients," said Amber Scott, Vice President of Marketing for Olin Community Credit Union. "We are strongly committed to supporting the youth in our community and look forward to awarding these scholarships to the deserving young adults that receive them."

Olin Community Credit Union membership is open to anyone who lives or works in any of the following counties: Madison, Macoupin, Montgomery, Jersey, Bond, Fayette, Greene or Calhoun.
