Meridian Bank
Announces Lobby Reopen
November 19, Alton, IL.
Meridian Bank is happy to announce that the lobby has reopened at the Alton Branch. In August the 80 year old building sustained a considerable amount of damage due to a water leak on the sixth floor of the building. After several months of work the lobby of the bank has re-opened with a sleek more contemporary look. The considerable amount of damage required improvements beyond the normal cosmetic update. The building and bank lobby received extensive renovations worth seeing. Throughout the renovation Meridian Bank remained open operating out of temporary offices within the building at 200 West Third. President Brad Rench said “We appreciate the patience and support of our customers during the renovation stage. We welcome everyone to stop by to see the warmer more modern new look of the lobby.” The public will have an opportunity to view the lobby on December 14th when the bank will host an open house from 9:00-5:00 to celebrate the newly remodeled facility. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 9:00 a.m.
