Countryside Builders has relocated after thirty years. "We're only 1/4 mile to the east on Route 111 and 267; in fact you can easily see both locations from each other." Said Jay Cates sales manager.
"The 225 Highway extension will be going through the old office and buildings. Fortunately we have several parcels of land near the new corridor which will enable us to eventually build a complete new facility." said Wade Seiler operations manager for Countryside Builders.
"The benefits of the new highway to our community makes moving our office and staff a welcome sacrifice." Cates said.
Countryside Builders is well known for its quality "R.C. Buildings" and experienced construction staff. They build Post-Frame buildings for Farm, residential, commercial and even post-frame homes in some areas. The company started in 1978 in Godfrey and began construction of the existing warehouses and offices in 1979.
"Nobody wants a 'shed' today." said Seiler, "They want a structure with quality materials, special trims, experienced workmanship and warranties for years of service and protection. Many of our structures are close to homes so we put 'gingerbread' on them such as eaves, porches and cupolas.
In today's market the customer can chose not only colors but a full range of building options to suit their needs. Many of our buildings are mounted on concrete foundations with insulation and liner panels. These structures are extremely efficient to heat because of our wall thickness, and are virtually maintenance free."
At Countryside builders annual dinner Leo Welling was presented a plaque for 25 years of honored service by Barry Seiler and Ron Conrad. Seiler and Conrad started the company in 1978 and are both still actively involved in its daily operations. Jay Cates and Wade Seiler (both long time employees) have also become partners in the 30 year old business and handle the sales and construction operations for the company.
Countryside Builders goal is to find out it's customers needs, design a structure specifically for their individual needs at an efficient cost. A bright new sign marks the companies' new location at 7107 Montclair Ave (highway 111 and 267) in Godfrey. Countryside Builders invites new and old customers to stop in the new facilities.
