On Tuesday, June 9, 2009, Adrianna Larkin (www.adriannalarkin.com), singer/songwriter, recording artist and BlogTalkRadio.com host, will be performing at the Sheldon Concert Hall, 3648 Washington Blvd, St. Louis, MO, 63108, an event to benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund at the Institute for Science and Health (www.ifsh.org). The performance will feature Ms. Larkin performing a mix of acoustic folk, Latin and Celtic flavors including tracks from her latest and most acclaimed CD release "Sacred Fire." Performing with Ms. Larkin will be St. Louis favorites Dave Black, Tom Maloney, Benet Schaefer, and Chris Voelker.
The concert will open with a very special performance by Bach to the Future (www.bachtothefuture.net), performing "classical music arranged for modern instruments." The �Bach that Rocks," features the Emmy Award winning composer Mike Silverman, Rob Silverman, Andrew Driscoll and Matt Bollinger.
Doors open at 6:30 PM with the concert beginning at 7:30 PM. There will be a silent auction beginning at 6:30 PM and remaining open through intermission. Items offered will include a vast array of music and sports collectibles: autographed memorabilia from music celebrities including AC/DC, Paul McCartney, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Sammy Hagar, and Taylor Swift, and sports figures from the St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Cardinals, and St. Louis Rams.
Ticket prices are $10 for General Admission and $25 for VIP reserved seating. The VIP tickets include admission to an after-party, with complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. WSIE Radio (88.7 FM) personality Ross Gentile will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Caryn Burstein, business owner (www.CLBInteriors.com) and Institute spokesperson for pancreatic cancer, will also speak at the concert.
All proceeds from the auction and concert will go to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund at the Institute for Science and Health (www.ifsh.org).
