The Green Team proudly hosted their 4th Annual Health Fair on Saturday, May 9, 2009 from 12:30 pm � 4:00 pm at the Goshen Facility located at 6814 Goshen Road, Edwardsville, IL.
The weather was perfect and the crowd was large. Over 500 participants came out to enjoy this wonderful Community Event. The Health Fair is an exciting event that not only supports the local community but also the local businesses. Over 30 local businesses set up display tables. Many of them offered health related presentations, displays, giveaways and activities showcasing their businesses.
Guests of the Health Fair were treated to a complimentary picnic lunch. One of the major highlights of the event was the arrival of the ARCH helicopter. Guests were amazed as the helicopter landed right in the middle of the Health Fair. They were treated to personalized tours of the helicopter and introductions to the pilot and rescue team. Additional highlights at the event were various bounce houses, State Police Roll Over Simulator, the Tumblebus, and clowns performing balloon art.
In honor of Mother�s Day, the kids decorated their own flower pot for Mom. They also got to take a chance at a new bicycle and participate in lots of other great activities. Many of the vendors catered to activities and giveaways just for the kids.
The Green Team from First Clover Leaf Bank is an all volunteer group of employees that shares their time and talents to benefit the local community. For the past eight years, this generous, energetic group has enriched the lives of area residents through its support of not-for-profit organizations. The Green Team Members constantly strive to strengthen our hometown by contributing to important causes.
