ACS Relay For Life of Riverbend Kickoff is Jan. 30
Event Helps Fund Cancer Research, Education, Area Cancer Patient Services
Cancer survivors take the opening lap at the 2009 Relay For Life of Riverbend last June 26 at East Alton-Wood River High School.
(Alton, IL - January 25, 2010) � The 14th annual Relay For Life of Riverbend will serve a free pancake breakfast as part of its kickoff event Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Wood River Roundhouse. The kickoff will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

The 2010 Relay For Life of Riverbend will be held June 25-26 at East Alton-Wood River High School. The local event has raised $1,189,638 in its 13 years of existence, including $110,076 last year.
Relay For Life committee members are also invited to attend the pancake breakfast and consider being the event chairman in 2010. The committee would also like to see more youth involved with Relay For Life, so school administrators and youth group leaders are especially welcome to attend.
