Hello, my name is Adam Andre. I have been obsessed with cars as early as I can remember. I like to keep track of all the new vehicles coming out. I mostly stick to my era, 1980's to present. I am most fascinated by the never ending possibilities of car modifications. I don't have near enough money to do much to my own car. But when I do, I do it right and I do whatever it takes. Most importantly, I do it myself because I like to learn. I would rarely have someone else work on my car. Unless they had a machine or tool needed to do the job. I worked at a Chevrolet dealer as a detailer for over a year. So, I like to keep my car looking new. What do I drive? I drive what I can afford, a white 2003 Ford Focus Sedan LX (base). I bought it brand new and I have never had an ounce of and trouble with it. I have done many things to it and learned a lot at the same time.
Enough about cars for a minute and I'll tell you who I am. I grew up near Dallas in McKinney, TX and graduated in 2001. I went to college for 2 years at Southeastern Oklahoma State Univ. in Durant, OK. I did not receive a degree, but I did get a private pilot license (another passion of mine). I left there to go to Kansas City to be with my wife, Jessica (originally from Bethalto). We lived there for 2 years and had two boys Austin July, 14th 2004 and Anthony December, 27th 2005. Now we live in Jerseyville. I work for Coca-Cola as a merchandiser in the area.
I have always wanted to share my excitement for cars with a large audience. I feel that RiverBender.com would be a great place to do that. So I plan to write many articles covering a wide range of issues concerning the automotive industry. I would also like to hear your comments and questions. No, I'm not a mechanic or a car encyclopedia. I will, however, try to respond to all of your email and give you the best information possible.
