(Alton August 1, 2009) � Mississippi Valley Christian School Alumni celebrated its 35th year anniversary with a formal dinner at Fosterburg Baptist Church on Friday evening, July 17th and a picnic on the school grounds (the former Western Military Academy campus) on Saturday, July 18th. There were 96 people at the banquet and over 170 at the picnic. Many former students as well as former and current staff came to celebrate this momentous occasion. Mississippi Valley Christian School provides a quality, Christian education for students in preschool through twelfth grade. Most of their graduates go on to higher education at both secular and Christian colleges and universities. Enrollment is open for the 2009-2010 school year. Call 462-1071 for more information.
