Alton, IL, May 12, 2009 Challenge Unlimited, Inc. has received its 11th three-year Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities International (CARF) accreditation for the organizations community and employment services. CARF accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to a community service provider and confirms Challenge Unlimiteds conformance to strict CARF standards. With this years accreditation, Challenge Unlimited has joined the top three percent of CARF accredited organizations by receiving zero recommendations from the site survey team.
An organization that receives a three-year CARF accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. To receive such accreditation, surveyors complete an on-site audit that lasts three days. The surveyors ensure that the organizations programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.
