The Wood River City Council considered city finances, a Riverbend Enterprise Zone services agreement and a recommendation to renew several types of municipal insurance. The council approved the minutes of its October 5 meeting, bills for October 1–14 and the financial statement ending September 30, 2026. It also approved an agreement with Moran Economic Development for technical services and assistance with the Riverbend Enterprise Zone.
The meeting included recognition of GoGo May’s 6th Street Diner, at 300 North 6th Street, as the city’s October 2026 Business Appearance Award recipient. A recommendation to renew property, workers’ compensation and cyber liability insurance with IML-RMA was presented.
