Riverbend Rescue’s Keys for Kids fundraiser supports local families at Christmas

On Our Daily Show, host Sydney Sinks talks with Riverbend Rescue’s Adam Marburger about Keys for Kids, the nonprofit’s holiday gift program for children and families in need across the Riverbend. Marburger explains how the organization works with school staff in the Wood River, Roxana, Bethalto and Alton districts to identify families and fulfill children’s requests, from gifts to essentials.

The conversation covers the third annual Keys for Kids dueling-pianos fundraiser, scheduled for November 14, 2026, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Rustic Roots in Wood River. Marburger discusses the event’s dinner, raffle and sponsorship opportunities, and ways individuals and businesses can support Riverbend Rescue. He says the organization hopes to assist 100 families this year; the fundraiser is intended to support local children and families.
