On Our Daily Show, Dan King discusses plans to move Heaterz Hot Chicken into Alton’s Flock Food Truck Park and rebrand the site as Heaterz at the Riverfront in spring 2027. The proposed makeover includes an astroturf area, playgrounds, large screens, a permanent kitchen, a drive-through Fast Lane and continued events, with the goal of creating a family-friendly destination and an informal welcome center for Alton.
King also talks about Heaterz’ growth, including a new Wood River location under construction and its recently opened O’Fallon location, as well as the company’s approach to entrepreneurship, employee development and community involvement. He describes the brand’s beginnings and its support for local schools and food-access efforts.
