At 9:20 AM, we’re talking with Susan Sams about Warm Neighbors Cool Friends, a program that provides utility bill assistance for income-qualified and moderate-income Ameren Illinois customers. Susan will explain who qualifies, how the program works, and what families can do right now if they’re struggling to keep up with energy costs. It’s practical help and real information for neighbors who need a hand this season.
At 10:10 AM, Kylie Wesley from King Air Conditioning & Heating joins us with a powerful way the community can give back. King is donating a percentage of all November installs to the Community Hope Center, and they’re also hosting a toy drive for the Center that could become an annual tradition. Listeners can donate a new, unwrapped toy from the Center’s wishlist at King’s office or shop to be entered for a chance to win all-inclusive Blues vs. Blackhawks tickets for 12/12/25 at 7 p.m.
Then at 10:35 AM, MCHS Theater joins us ahead of their fall performance. We’ll highlight the show, the students bringing it to life, and why supporting high school theater is such a big deal for the community.
A full Thursday of care, giving, and creativity.
