Our Daily Show features conversations about financial planning, senior living options and employment opportunities for people with disabilities across the Riverbend area. Curtis Stephens of Stephens Planning discusses his family-focused, independent approach, what a first financial-planning meeting is like and why people with Medicare should review plan changes during open enrollment.

Cindy Cannon of Villa Rose Senior Living Community in Bethalto explains the community’s Trick-or-Treat Night and open house, along with its new Simple Living option for adults 55 and older. The program offers studio and one-bedroom apartments with included services and flexibility to add meals or support as needs change.

Challenge Unlimited leaders discuss the organization’s employment services and its hydroponic smart farm on the Alton campus, developed in partnership with Theodora Farms. Participants will learn farm operations and build transferable work skills; the organization also describes its work connecting job seekers with disabilities and local employers.
