On this Wednesday in the heart of the Riverbend... we are kicking things off with Fritz Beer in the studio! Coming our way October 21st at 5pm, at the Lodge at the Lovejoy is the Gus Kodros Tribute Rock Show to Benefit 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. This reunion of St. Louis and Alton legacy bands features: The Bishops, Avon Ladies, Matt Taul, Doug Raffety, Todd Keith, Chuck Lindo, Flea, Gigi Darr, and Bob Monroe, and is a great way to bring attention and funding to the important but often overlooked organizations that help people in mental distress. We get all of the details and ways that we can be a part of it. Then at 10:35, we are talking to Cindy Reinhardt from the Madison County Historical Society joins us in the studio! MCHS is holding its 2023 Living History Days Festival in Edwardsville and Glen Carbon this weekend 10-6 through 10-8! Cindy fills us in on all of the details and places we are going to visit, along with the amazing people we will be learning about, and of course, the ways all of us in our family can enjoy and have fun this weekend!
