Dave Fleetwood of Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 864 joins Our Daily Show to explain how people interested in aviation can get involved, whether or not they have a pilot’s license. The chapter welcomes pilots, aircraft builders and others interested in aviation careers and holds monthly meetings at St. Louis Regional Airport in Bethalto.
Fleetwood discusses the chapter’s aviation scholarship program, funded by pancake breakfasts, and its goal of awarding two scholarships this year, provided there are applicants. The conversation also covers aviation career paths, chapter speakers and aircraft featured at the breakfast advertised for October 10.
