Terry Schneider of Embark Wealth Partners discusses Breakfast for a Hero, the annual free Veterans Day breakfast for veterans and their families at Julia’s Banquet Center in East Alton. Schneider explains how the event began as a community giveback and grew, with local sponsors and performers including the Gibson Girls helping make the gathering possible.
The conversation covers the event’s RSVP process, the organizers’ focus on keeping the morning centered on veterans rather than sales or vendors, and ways attendees and families can take part. Schneider also describes the breakfast’s welcoming atmosphere and the support provided by Julia’s Banquet Center.
