If you've been involved in an accident, people always ask me, "What should I do?"
First, and most importantly, seek medical treatment. Go to the hospital or contact your doctor and schedule an appointment. Many people are injured far more seriously than they realize after an accident. Sometimes they're embarrassed or think they'll be fine, so they don't go to the doctor—but that's a mistake.
Second, don't speak with the insurance company if they contact you. Remember, they work for the insurance company, not for you. Their job is to protect their interests, not yours.
Third, I know it's difficult these days—my kids do it too—but stay off social media. Don't post anything about the accident or your activities. Anything you post can be used against you during your case, and you don't want to help the other side.
Finally, contact us. We'd be happy to represent you. We'll help get your vehicle repaired, work to get your medical bills taken care of, and fight to get you the compensation you deserve.
That's what we do. At the end of the day, it's about you.
