Duke Bakery marked its 75th anniversary with a standout appearance at the "250 on the Mississippi" festival on July 1st at Haskell Park. The bakery debuted its new "Duke on the Go" mobile trailer while Mayor David Goins proclaimed it Duke Day in Alton. Festivities included the ceremonial cutting of a massive 75-foot-long cake alongside family-friendly activities like live music, contests, and patriotic fun that highlighted Duke's deep roots in the community
