After defeating Alton High School in the first match of the IHSA Class 3A Metro-East Lutheran Regional, the Granite City High School Warriors’ battle for postseason glory ended.

In Tuesday evening’s match against the Belleville West High School Maroons, their opponents took both sets with scores of 25-12 and 25-18 respectively.
