Xandra Yvonne Smoot (Zimmerman) was born on January 30th, 1948 to the late Paul Zimmerman and Zita Zimmerman (Simon). She was born and raised in Batchtown, Illinois where she lived with her six siblings.
She lived in Wood River, Illinois for over forty years. On November 18th, 1967, Xandra married Alford C Smoot Sr. Together they had three children, A. Charles Smoot Jr. Tonya L Gralike (Smoot) and Lonnie J Smoot.
She is survived by her husband Alford Sr and three children, Charles, Tonya, and Lonnie. She is also survived by multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Xandra was a school bus driver for over twenty years. She enjoyed playing bingo. But the thing she loved the most, was spending time with her loved ones. Xandra will be remembered for her kind heart and loving spirit. She was truly a blessing to everyone she knew and will be missed unconditionally.
