Wilma Wayman

Wilma Carolene Wayman, 60 passed away at 2:50 pm,Thursday, April 21, 2016  with her family by her side.She was born on September 9, 1955 in Alton, IL, the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mary G. (Smith) Witcher.She married Gary Wayman on  November 30, 1973. He survives.Carolene worked for the Wiseman Law Office as a Receptionist. She was a former member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. She enjoyed summers in the pool, crafts and bunco. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.She is survived by two daughters, Katie and her spouse Shawn Dawson of Alton, and Amanda Wayman and her significant other William “Billy” Belcher of Alton, IL; three siblings and their spouses, Joanne and Randy Thomas of Springfield, IL, Dianna and Alan Van Booven of Godfrey, IL and Olen and Carol Witcher of Godfrey; four grandchildren, Lauren Wayman, Tiffini, Ryan, and Emma Dawson; one great- grandchild, Grace Kanturek; and three grand dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents.Visitation will be from 3 to 7 pm, Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, IL.Funeral service will be on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10 am, at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, with Fr.
