William (Bill) Phillips peacefully passed away with his family surrounding him on August 9, 2023, of injuries sustained from a sudden tragic automobile accident.
Bill was born on February 13, 1973, in Danville, IL. The son of Tom and Judy (Hall) Phillips who proceeded him in death as well as his brother Tom.
Bill’s greatest accomplishments and loves were his children both biological and bonus, Peighton, Jordan, Brynna, Kynlee, Jessica(Noah), and his granddaughter Bristol. They were his reason.
Bill lived in Florida for many years where he made long-lasting friendships. Upon moving back to Illinois he never missed a trip to Florida for his Fantasy Football.
He is survived by his children’s mother and best friend Aimee (Cody) Vannoy, his sister Nicole Hufford, Sister in Law Sara (Craig) Shattuck, His brother in Law Mark Retzer, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews, and Many extended family and friends that Bill loved dearly and he referred to them as Family.
Bill will be missed by all who met him even if for just a moment.
Life will be celebrated in the fall during his favorite time of year, football season.
