William Henry Lindsey, 61, of Troy, Illinois passed away at 6:17 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026.
He was born September 15, 1964, a son of the late George Willis and Marian Elizabeth (Mize) Lindsey.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed his days of fishing, camping and throwing horseshoes. He cherished his family and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with them.
In addition to his beloved parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline (Schmick) Lindsey; three brothers, Thomas Helige, George Lindsey and Albert Lindsey and four sisters, Della Youngbauer, Katherine Moore, Cathy Helige and Carol Marble.
He is survived by a sister, Mary Fuller of Olmsted, Illinois; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Barbara Helige of Tooele, Utah; special cherished nephew, William Moore; nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.
In celebration of his life, his body was donated to Lamplighter Donor Services.
Services may be held at a later date.
