William E. Myatt, 81, of Maryville, IL, died at Elmwood Nursing and Rehab, Maryville, IL on Monday, May 9, 2022, at 6:59 am.
He was born September 13, 1940, in Bunker Hill, IL to James Lee Myatt & Alta Marie Wooldridge Myatt.
He married Shirley May Spinner Myatt. He was retired after having been a construction superintendent. William was a veteran of the US Air Force after having served from 1958-to 1962.
He is survived by his spouse, Shirley Myatt of Maryville, IL, daughters, Kim Myatt of Maryville, IL, Tammy (Rick) Masters of Collinsville, IL, grandchildren, Kevin (Katie) Buckingham of Edwardsville, IL, Ashley (Andy) Kerr of Ohio, great-grandchildren, Blake Buckingham, Bella Rose Buckingham, Locklyn Kerr, Rowan Kerr, siblings, Deanna "De" (John) Smith of Bunker Hill, IL and Nancy (Mike) Edmiaston of Bethalto, IL.
William was preceded in death by his parents, son, Daniel Myatt, daughter, Susan Myatt, brother, Don Myatt, and sister, Pat Blanton. Private family services will be held.
