William Bradley

William D. “Bill” Bradley, 79, passed away at 1:35am on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Integrity of Godfrey. 

He was born on April 15, 1939, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the son of the late Oliver and Katherine (Arthur) Bradley.  He married the former Peggy Simpson on February 17, 1961, in Findlay, Ohio, and she survives. 

Other survivors include two sons and daughters in law: William E. “Bill” and Janice Bradley of Bonnots Mills, Missouri, Rex and Bonnie Bradley of Dorsey, two grandchildren: Cory Bradley, Zackery Bradley and his fiance’: Cheyenne Fechtel, two sisters: Emma Powell of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Vivian Moyer of Lima, Ohio, two brothers: Edward Bradley of Alton, John Bradley of Kenton, Ohio, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Bill was an over the road truck driver for many years.  He loved to build train sets, trucks, and play chess.  He loved the Dallas Cowboys.  He was a member of Emmanuel Free Methodist Church in Alton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Herbert and Charles, and an infant brother: Clyde.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.  In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be from 1pm until time of memorial services at 2pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church in Alton.  Rev. Mark Scandrett will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
